Losar New Tibetan Year

I just went to the Losar Tibetan New Year, though I did not find Geshe there, it was a colorful event, with Tibetan folk music and a circle dance, central to the Himalayan culture.
I was treated to Momos, the central Tibetan, Nepalese and Gharwal delicacy, also in a different flavor in Bangalore and Bylakuppe, where I am from, it is called Kadabu!
Food Treats!

More images, of the gathering and the dance...

At Twin Cities.

I attended a seminar on Axion Messengers in the standard particle model and experimental work on track recognition for Axion signatures in the Hadron collider experiment.
It was new to me to even know hidden messengers existed and this was acceptable in the standard particle model, worse dark matter can hardly be an Axion. I learnt that there are a new class of particles called supersymmetry particles, something new to me, I wondered if the interacted with quasi particles, the magnons and plasmons and if computing is possible with dark matter?
I did meet a lot of Susie Derkin like girls, the 'sissy girls' all on the way. The big yaps they are they are always giggling and yapping about old men and their physics, much to the dismay of the male community!, This inspired another Trio and Quahog Tale on CoreDump, a new Dark Matter Computer.
If you want to visit the Cosmology Lunch Seminar, as an adventure of sorts, you could. They are at:

A T.Rex at the science museum.

At half past eight PM, a human dressed in  a dinosaur costume, specifically a T.Rex appears magically in illusionism, from somewhere inside, with huge grunts and roars, roaming ergotically the entire hallway lobby of the science museum, Does he span the whole surface area, in his quest to create the wrong images of the T.Rex? Maybe yes and maybe no, while some women scream and run to safety away from a formidable mass of polymer, and mechanical grunts, I realized that the language was incorrect and the deception obvious in the visible feet of a man.
Here are images:

Maybe robotics with a pure auto navigating robot would be more appropriate, why not use BEAM robotics?

Thanksgiving at Catholic Charity

Catholic Charity, at St PAul, had a much worked about Thanks Giving, short of sacrificing the first nation after 'thanks-giving', I witnessed a miracle. The Lord was kind enough to excuse my escort 'Miss Wild Turkey' who accompanies me much like Mary's little lamb. While we at PETA question the practice of celebrating and gratitude with a turkey instead of something more Vegan, here are the photographs.....

The food was unassuming, the presentation simple and straightforward, with a childlike honesty. Many thanks to the people behind the scenes, and of course I could not hide the lamp-black, so I hope I will not see the Arab Infidel as the new Anti-Christ!

Greening Lillydale Regional Park.

The other day I witnessed a rare psychosis, the average urban woman boxing inquisitive blackbirds, knee-deep in the Mississippi, maybe greening the banks would help.
So on October 5th, 2019 I photo journaled, this event at Lilydale park, on the shores of Mississippi, by St Paul.
Brickyard is a fossil bed, as the earth turns, and new fossils are contributed, I imagined rare forms of exotic lifeforms, from little dinosaur birds to seashells, when the land met the sea.
One little hillock stood out, needing soil fixing with rooting, all with pollinator and local undergrowth.
I visited the place early in the morning and was hushed off in a large black omnibus, a journey to the world of the echo cave, I habitat with brown bats.
The early half of the morning was spent in planting pegs, square ones, in round holes dug with spades. Here are some of the photos of people in action.....
